The Cleveland Guardians faced some adversity heading into Game 5 of the ALDS.

According to ESPN Eduardo Perezthe team had to leave their hotel and take their bags to Yankee Stadium, unsure if they were going to Houston or Cleveland depending on the outcome.

But once the game was postponed, the Guardians attempted to return to their hotel and it was overbooked, forcing the Cleveland players to split up and stay at multiple hotels across the city.

The sports world reacted to the chaotic news of the Guardians’ accommodation on social media.

“W imo,” commented the “Talkin’ Yanks” podcast.

“Hal bought all the hotels near the stadium,” said a Bombers fan. “My owner.”

“Home advantage, baby,” tweeted Anthony Riccobono. “Excellent work all around.”

“BUT YOU MANFRED AND YOUR WEATHER MACHINE!!!!!!!!” another user replied. “Imagine if that happened to the Yankees in Cleveland. MLB would have forfeited the Guardians. Trash.”
