A new Lebanese restaurant, Al Hamra Street Restaurant, is set to open in the foodie capital of the Middle East, Dubai, transporting foodies to the heart of Beirut’s bustling food scene without even leaving the emirate.
Bringing its selection of Levantine dishes, the restaurant will be located in the city’s new street food hub, Hessa Street, a tribute to its roots in the heart of Beirut.
The location couldn’t be more suited to the Beirut-inspired brand, so named after the city’s busiest and busiest streets, filled with food kiosks, street shops, cafeses, bars and much more.
Designed to recreate this magical neighborhood of Beirut, the restaurant is decorated with modern graffiti, nostalgic art and scenic photographs of Beirut over the years, once known as the Switzerland of the Middle East.
Live cooking stations were created by the restaurant’s designers to mimic street shops and cafeses on Hamra Street, giving diners a real sense of escape with a feast for the senses.
From mouth-watering manoushe to light and fluffy falafel, delicious sandwiches, juicy shawarma and fresh salads, the menu promises some of Beirut’s most famous dishes, right on diners’ doorstep.
