The Taste of Autumn event is Chef Middle East’s annual get-together, bringing together regional foodservice industry professionals to meet suppliers from around the world to explore the latest food trends and bring together a passionate community cooking enthusiasts. From exciting live demonstrations with celebrity chefs and highly regarded local talent to live cooking stations, industry talks, food tasting and networking among key industry players, this event was at do not miss.

Twice awarded Pastry Chef of the Year before she turned 30, Nina Métayer is now a pastry chef consultant and entrepreneur developing projects in France and abroad. She released her first book ‘Délicate Pâtisserie’ in 2021 and hosted a few signing sessions during the event.

During her two masterclasses, Nina presented two of her must-have boutique desserts from her Parisian Pâtisserie: “La Tarte Crispy et Crémeuse au Chocolat” and “La Tarte au Citron” alongside a dessert with a plate of peaches decorated with raspberries. She revealed the techniques for mastering these creations and provided tips and advice, while demonstrating how to create perfectly balanced desserts made with Chef Middle East’s range of premium baking ingredients.

Guillermo Corral is a Culinary Technical Advisor at Sosa Ingredients and has been trained in numerous Michelin starred restaurants.
