Eden opens at Dubai Opera


The city’s best-kept secret has finally been revealed. Nestled inside the refined and refined haven of Belcanto, a pathway leads to an eclectic space designed to transport you to “Eden‘, a hidden slice of disco heaven intended to attract well-heeled revelers and night owls alike.

This new addition to Dubai’s nightlife scene promises a steady schedule of local and international entertainment acts, bringing a euphoric jungle dripping in glamor and playing electronic music.

Bar mastermind and five-time World’s 50 Best Bars winner Mikhail Melnik has put together an impressive drinks menu featuring signature cocktails inspired by of heavenly beings.

“The juxtaposition of these two similar but very different spaces is so beautiful because it allows us to offer our customers the same high level of service in both locations, while maintaining independent identities and offerings. As a hotel group, our main goal is to bring multi-sensory culinary experiences to the bustling city of Dubai by combining global talents in the world of gastronomy and entertainment. From internationally acclaimed classical opera singers and theater production companies to genius turntables playing at world music festivals, our team curated a range of food and nighttime programs that would nurture different audiences and tastes,” said Pauline Mishina, Brand Director of Restart 354 Hotel Group.


The grand opening is October 14th and the team is doing everything possible to bring Eden live. Headlining the big launch are Guillaume and Jonathan Alric, a French music and video duo based in Paris, known collectively as The Blaze.

Fresh off their successful world tour, The Blaze will fly to Dubai for an exclusive concert at the Eden.

The award-winning electronic duo have performed at international festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Pitchfork Paris, the Reading and Leeds Festivals and Primavera Sound to name a few. Their distinctive musical method is to produce sound and images at the same time, bridging the gap between music and images. In January 2016, they released their first clip, “Virile”, which won the UK Music Video Award (UKMVA) for Best Alternative Video – International. Meanwhile, their self-produced and directed music video “Territory” won several accolades, including the “Film Craft Grand Prix” at the 2017 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, “Best Director” at the Berlin Music Video Awards and “Best International Dance Video” UKMVA. Their debut album “Dancehall” was released in September 2018. Its ten tracks include single “Heaven”, as well as singles “She” and “Faces” which were released that summer.

Eden Dubai opens on September 29 with resident DJ Icci pumping up the beat every night. Icci is an electronic instrumentalist, musician and producer, and founder of the So Slow community. The venue has a limited capacity, so calling ahead for reservations is recommended.

The hidden bar turns out to be one of the most sought after New Year’s Eve spots due to its magnificent view of the Burj Khalifa. In fact, some tables have already been booked for New Year’s Eve by connoisseurs before the bar even opens.

Eden Dubai is hidden inside the gourmet Italian restaurant Belcanto on the roof of the Dubai Opera. Eden is open every evening from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. while Belcanto is open from 6 p.m. to midnight.
