- Continually review each account’s actual production against that account’s potential and review suggestions for improvement with department management.
- Focus on making new contacts with customers and developing detailed insights into potential revenue from those accounts.
- Achieve personal financial and non-financial performance goals, working with department management to ensure these goals are met.
- Take responsibility for your own professional development, ensuring you have the financial literacy, negotiation and face-to-face selling skills needed to do your job successfully.
- Maintain accurate management status reports on business results and associated action planning.
- Practice effective cost control and adhere to internal expense approval procedures
- Actively participate in guest familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips, and road shows necessary to achieve hotel sales goals.

- Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of IT support tools used in the sales world today, including sales specific software, real estate PMS, Microsoft Office toolset
