Accor is preparing to bring the French art of living to Cairo


Accor, world leader in augmented hospitality with more than 420 hotels in India, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, is expanding its luxury presence in Egypt with the signing of Sofitel Cairo New Capital Hotel & Residences, a new flagship property of the group which will strengthen the Sofitel brand in Egypt.

The new property will be located in the heart of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) of Cairo, a self-contained city comprising components of hospitality, residential, entertainment, commercial, retail and government entities, including the presidential palace, the parliament, the cabinet, Supreme Court, all the ministries of Egypt and various foreign embassies.

The property will feature two towers and a podium, in which the first tower will include 200 hotel keys and 280 branded residences, from one to four bedrooms, while the second tower will include offices and commercial spaces.

The group collaborates with Edge Holding, an Egyptian real estate developer created by Al Borouj Misr Developments and Al Mashariq KSA as a joint venture in 2018.

Accor currently operates 34 properties (9,399 keys) in Egypt, and another 34 (9,951 keys) are under development.
