Two big launches on the UAE food scene this month


The recently opened Punjab Grill is located in The Oberoi, Dubai, and offers an intimate dining experience with an innovative menu of modern Indian cuisine. The restaurant overlooks the courtyard, with an open live kitchen where a team of skilled chefs is always on the move to prepare menu items over fiery grills and aroma-saturated tandoors. Leading this team is Executive Chef Sandeep Ail, originally from Mumbai, where he studied culinary studies at the Institute of Hotel Management. His expertise in balancing both traditional and modern Indian cuisine.

Punjab Grill’s diverse menu, curated by Chef Sandeep Garlic, is authentically Indian but with exciting food twists and will include Punjab Grill classics such as Butter chicken and Kashmiri lamb chops as well as new additions such as Dabur Black Cod, sesame and coconut shrimp served with Ragi noodles, and Vindaloo Duck Breast. The menu also has a good range of gluten-free options and dishes that can be prepared to suit vegan diets such as Tandoori Portobello and Kundapur roasted cauliflower. Freshness is key and the ingredients are sourced locally, including burrata produced in the United Arab Emirates and fresh oysters from Dibba Bay.

From September 16, TiNDLE will be on the menus with 8 partner restaurants with nearly 20 outlets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, including At.Mosphere at Burj Khalifa, Akira Back Dubai, BB Social Dining at DIFC, Bite Me Burger / Get Plucked at DIFC and Jumeirah Park, FIKA at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Zero Gravity in Dubai Marina, La Brioche in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah.

To celebrate the launch of TiNDLE in the UAE, from September 16-18, Bite Me Burger / Get Plucked at DIFC will be giving away 100 free TiNDLE “Oprah Henfry” burgers every day starting at noon. Delicious TiNDLE Crispy Chicken Sliders and several other dishes will also debut at Zero Gravity’s popular summer brunch on September 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
